This is part of a short series of caches on - or fairly near -
the convergence of the Gloucestershire and Glevum Ways. They were
planted over a period of 3/4 weeks, although not in any logical
order.
There seemed to be a big "empty space" in this area; apart from the
lonely "Second Anniversary" (GC12XJ1); it is a lovely flat area
that makes for a delightful walk, so I decided that the space
needed filling and that's what I have attempted to do.
I hope that people enjoy the caches and the walk.
The series in this section is now complete
I thought that this trail WAS the GW footpath because it is so
well trodden but it appears to be a shortcut. Anyway - it is part
of an open pasture meadow, occasionally used by sheep or
cattle.
The cache is hidden undercover at ground level near the
Broadbridge Brook/Stream and close to the main A38 Tewkesbury
Road.
Just across the road (very busy), is a plaque on the wall
marking the placement of a Time Capsule.
The Gloucestershire Way runs for approximately 100 miles from
Stow-on-the-Wold in the east to Chepstow in the west.
