These five caches are located at the Campus Trail Park, which has recently been designated as a county park. It is a low, wooded area with over a mile of trails. The trails are used mainly for running/hiking in the summer and snowshoeing/skiing in the winter.
In the spring, this area becomes quite muddy. Since the park has received more attention, volunteers have built bridges and laid gravel on the main loop trail to help with this problem. This park is a paradise for mosquitoes, and they can be quite merciless, as you can read in the logs.
The caches are small Gladware containers with room for trading items. They shouldn’t be too difficult to find, but some of them are a ways off the trail, and the tree cover causes the GPS signal to be inconsistent.
