Geocache Description:


This is my first ever cache hid. It’s hopefully a fun and easy one. Bring some bird seed, and the ducks will be very happy with you. If you are lucky, you may even see some other wildlife like the turtles and frogs that live in the pond.

In the spring there are quite a few wildflowers, so please don’t stray off the path until you are about two or three metres from the cache. You can go right from the trail on to rock, so stepping on vegetation is not needed. But be careful on the rocks in the last few metres, as they can be slippery when wet in the winter. The path around the duck pond is gravel. You can enter the park from Beckwith park, or Morris Drive. In the nearby Beckwith park there are fields for dogs to play on, tennis courts, and a kids playground. In the summer there is also a little water park.

This is also a themed cache. I collect embroidered badges / cloth patches, and I thought it might be fun to have a cache with just those as traders. I've put a small selection out, and hope people have fun trading.

This cache welcomes travel bugs and geo coins.
