Withnell Circular can be done in any order and the full route will take around 2 - 3 hours. It is approximately 5 miles long. Parking is available at this point, but please be mindful of local residents. There are a couple of shops in Abbey Village, an Indian restaurant and the Hare and Hounds pub (which does allow dogs in). The cache is a small clip lock box containing log, pencil and small swaps.
From # 6 walk along Bolton Road and turn right on to Lilac Avenue then follow the road round to the left, you should see the path from there. This path leads along to what is known locally as "The Pad". It is a pleasant walk which runs above the old railway cutting. There are a couple of benches along The Pad to rest your feet and take in some great views.
