Geocache Description:

This is a multi-cache that is located in the Mory Ismond Envrionmental Lab behind Gilkey Elementary. Updating to a 3 difficulty

This cache is placed in memory of our dear friend, Pat Davis, who suddenly passed away in 2009. She is a true inspiration to many people in this community and of the elementary school. She touched many lives of the children at Gilkey Elementary and her love of nature lives on by the dedication of the outdoor classroom that you will see on your walk.

Please enjoy the beautiful path that runs along the Kalamazoo River and meets with the Plainwell Mill Race.

Please park around the back side of the school and remember that some young muggles may be present. School hours are 8:15 to 3:30, but the Nature Lab is open to the public until dark.

No bushwacking required, but don't forget the bug spray. Enjoy the 1/2 mile hike to the final cache.
