gvsu4msu: Went out today to check on this cache. Sadly the AMMO CAN is MIA - someone seems to have unlocked it from its location and walked off with it. Of course said person was nice enough to leave the bike lock that secured it. Thankfully no travel bugs were in the cache at the time of abduction. However, now I need to find a new spot for a new TB hotel...one that is even more secure than this location.

Part of our geocaching adventues includes finding, moving, swapping, and placing Travel bugs and Geocoins. We enjoy helping these little travelers so much, that we have decided to open our 3rd Travel Bug & Geocoin Hotel geocache.

Ever find yourself with a Travel Bug or Geocoin that won't fit in all those small and microcaches you find out there, then this cache is for you. Feel free to stop by and drop them in here for a much needed break. This cache is designed to provide all those Travel bugs and Geocoins the much needed rest on their journeys.

This is no ordinary geocache. This cache is a "rest stop" of sorts for travel bugs and geocoiins as they travel around the world. It also serves as a place for geocachers to drop travel bugs and geocoins they have found or pick up other travel bugs and geocoins to help them with their adventures. The travel bugs and geocoins in this cache are not "swag" for you to trade for or to keep, as stated before, they are travelers with specific missions.

Check-In at the posted coordinates For security purposes, there is a lock on the container. Be sure to make note of the required info to open the container and sign the log.

Come as often as you like, just make sure you leave a NOTE of the travel bugs you check in AND out. This will help keep clear what "visitors" were dropped off (checked in) and what "visitors" were picked up (checked out). You do not need to have a travel bug or geocoin to drop in if you want to pick one (or more) up. This is a Travel Bug and Geocoin hotel (not a prison - which generally requires an equal trade). On behalf of the Travel Bug and Geocoin owners, I ask that you log any travelers in or out that you take or leave when you visit.
