Out driving around and came across this NYS Blue History sign.
Early Cemetary:
Nearby hillside is site of one of the First burial grounds in the town of Ava. Field stones mark graves of Yankee Settlers who arrived prior to 1830.
You do not have to go on private property to reach this cache. It is very close to the road. Please cover it back up after you find it.
You may see or smell the most talked about dump that is very close by.
