First of a series of ten. See back of Log for character value which
gives part of co-ordinates of cache no 10. Some of the caches in
this series show the values of the following characters

The route follows public and permitted footpaths. It starts with a
steep slope then passes near to a WWII airfield opened in 1940 used
for training Wellington bomber crews and glider crews. Some areas
may be overgrown. The route crosses fields which may become muddy
passes under a noisy grain dryer and continues over a rocky uneven
track for a short distance. Parking for one or two cars is
available in village on church street at N51 29.007 W001 14.132
