Geocache Description:

***PLEASE*** use Stealth as this is a very public area. If you find this cache and cannot get it replaced due to suddenly higher muggle attendance, come back an hour later? Muggles are behind the tree at wonton house and behind cars. There is plenty of nearby parking but please respect the location owners building and parking.
Special thanks to “Northlang” for archiving a nearby cache so we could re-locate here!

This cache is dedicated to Ron Burk, my wife's late brother and all other armed forces members past & present. Ron was a member of the Royal Canadian Infantry 7th Toronto Regiment stationed at Moss Park Armoury and was included in a photo taken with Queen Elizabeth on September 29, 1984 when she came for a visit to Canada. Over his career, like many military, police and fire department members throughout North America, Ron collected and traded official regiment and uniform patches.

This cache is chocked full of Patches. Please trade fairly and cache appropriate if you can. If you have no patch to trade, please take one anyway. If you are the cacher who takes the last patch, e-mail us and we will gladly re-fill it again until our stash from Ron runs out. Our way of remembering him. We all know someone who has served or is serving. This is our way of paying respect and “Thanks, for a job well done!”

The cache page background is of the Westminster Regiment pin where my son served in Aldergrove as a cadet. Some of my son’s cadet friends went on to serve with the regular forces and recently came home from Afghanistan!
