I hate this type of cache actually... a micro in the woods... but I had to hide something between the two caches my geokids put in, and all I had with me was this thing I carry in my bag of tricks. It's nothing strange, actually, if you're a geocacher.
This is a hide on the side of Bald Mountain, about halfway up to the summit from the parking area on Harbour / Long Trail road. Basically I hope that by hiding a few on this side of the mountain, I can get more geocachers to check out the White Rocks area on the other side of the mountain. It is truly a stunning view from a unique geologic feature.
On this side, it's just a steep hiking trail through pretty woods with lots of mushrooms in the summer.
