Prime Minister Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Bristracker: I have decided to archive this one. It does not get a lot of visitors and some people (including the CO!) have become disorientated when descending the hill. In two cases the finders barely made it back to their vehicles before dark. In view of that I have decided to archive rather than ask for another cacher to take it over.

Geocache Description:

clear clip lock container hidden on steep hillside in reserve parkland

-------------------------------------------------------------WARNING: several cachers (including the owner) have wandered down dry gullies trying to get back to their geovehicles after this one. Leave enough daylight to allow for taking the wrong way out.

When I saw the name of this park I knew just the cache to take up residence there. Now although it is described as a "playground for the enjoyment of all children" it is more like hilly scrub land so be warned.

I believe I was also motivated by the desire to place a cache worthy of Herbz, another of our Gold Coast geocaching teams.

Just as the Prime Minister - another in the Occupations series of caches - is at the top of the political heap, so you will be near the top of this hill when you find the cache.

Unless you are sure-footed and don't mind climbing up and down some moderately steep inclines covered with loose stones then please do not attempt this cache. Probably best to do this one with someone else to be on the safe side. Not one for little children. If you're old enough to vote you can have a go.

The park land was donated by Jenny Johns who dedicated her life to the care and fostering of many children from all walks of life from 1967 onwards. So far it seems her gift has been enjoyed by BMX riders who have built themselves some pretty hairy ramps and jumps.

Many ideas for swaps: diaries or calendars for marking those important cabinet meetings, paper clips for gathering up cabinet papers, or a ball to throw in the other party's court, organisers to keep track of those you have to reward or punish, gloves to keep your hands clean, and how about a tape measure to measure up for renovations to The Lodge!!

Aussie Liahona surprised me by tackling this one in the dark - that is NOT advised, by the way - and winning a hard fought election for First to Find.
