Avalon Traditional Cache
OReviewer: As there's been no cache to find for a long time or has had no owner response for at least 30 days, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

This is a larger sized regular locknlock type box out in the middle of the woods on the outskirts of the Deptford Soccer facility. Please remember the bug spray for this one, and substantial bushwhacking required if you make a b-line for the cache.
As you should know by now, am a huge Science Fiction fanatic, particularly when it comes to Stargate. I generally like to pretend each Cache is a Stargate, exploring a new planet each time I go out caching. As I've spent the last ten years behind a computer on the Internet, I've gained a vast amount of both useless and useful knowledge. But I crave more. I find that through Geocaching, I both learn a lot and get to see new interesting things that I've never seen before. Partly because few muggles get to see some of the things cachers do, but also because of the cave I've lived in for so long. So here's a little story from my other side.

Tens of millions of years ago, lived an Ancient race of beings known as the Alterra. They went on a great journey through space, across the Universe. Until they came across a great belt of stars. (The Milky Way Galaxy) They called their new home Avalon (Antarctica, Earth) and they built many Astria Porta. Stargates.
In an effort to see the Universe with their Stargate Network, they launched unmanned ships. Designed to gather data, resources, to manufacture Stargates and deposit them on habitable worlds. With this geocache, I am doing something similar. By launching two travel bugs which missions are to seed new geocaches and collect data. Gate Seeder Alpha and Beta.
