Une cache toute proche de
la Tour du Castella pour vous faire découvrir la tour crénelée St Michel (24 m de haut), qui date du XIVe siècle.
Elle est le seul vestige de l’ancienne église fortifiée, construite à partir de 1382.
....Pour vous conduire également dans un petit parc surplombant Tarascon, non loin des vestiges de l'ancien château. Nous avons préféré y placer la cache, et l'éloigner ainsi de la Tour parce qu'elle a disparu 2 fois (la cache, pas la Tour !) avant que le 1er géocacheur ne puisse la découvrir, en 2010 ...... Bonne découverte !

A cache very near
la Tour du Castella to show you turreted tower St Michel (24m high), which dates from the fourteenth century.
It is the only remnant of the old fortified church, whose building started in 1382.
..... Also to lead you to a small park overlooking Tarascon, near the ruins of the ancient castle. We have prefered to place the cache there and so, put it farther from the tower because it had disappeared twice (the cache, not the tower!) before the 1st geocacher could find it, in 2010. Enjoy!
