Geocache Description:

This Cache may entail a 1/2 mile walk to search for it depending on the weather. Access is by a dirt access road up to the South end of Mollala River State Park.

ACCESS TO THIS CACHE IS BY WAY OF A DIRT ROAD THAT MAY OR MAY NOT BE PASSABLE TO YOUR VEHICLE. DON'T CALL ME IF YOU GET STUCK!! THERE MAY BE A CABLE ACROSS THE ENTRANCE TO THE DIRT ROAD WITH A "KEEP OUT" SIGN. GEOCACHERS HAVE PERMISSION TO LOWER THE CABLE AND PROCEED TO A POINT QUITE A BIT CLOSER TO THE CACHE! ENTRANCE FOR PURPOSES OTHER THAN GEOCACHING ARE CONTROLLED. ACCESS POINT: N 45 16.281 W 122 43.363 This Cache Idea is stolen from a Cacher in California and has been modified somewhat from the Original. The Cache Owner did not respond to my request for permission to copy his concept. I have heard that copying is the sincerest form of flattery! So here it is………. The cache IS at the posted coordinates but has Additional Logging Requirements that must be met before you Post a “Find”! Here's a note that I received from a "Cooperation Challenge" participant: I do like the condition that you have people post a note saying they are starting the challenge. Kind of creates a solid starting point and does alleviate people from going back too far. So I'd just make that condition really clear up front. I would word it: "To begin, post a note for this cache with your note date as your start date. Then, go cache with others and make sure you mention them in your logs." I've met a good friend already! This has been fun....I only have 4 more to go to get to my 25. I've been making sure it is really caching - not just at an event. Though I did do one at the event Saturday, I purposefully met new people and asked them specifically to walk over to a cache with me. And I didn't count all the others standing around. Just the 5 or so that I had purposely walked with. Has been a hoot! ############################# And, I respond -- Thanks for taking the time to enjoy this Challenge! Cache On and Enjoy, Bob aka ORNITH This is your challenge: To 'Find' Caches with the help of at least 25 other Cachers. It may sound overwhelming but it really should not be too hard and it is just a start! But it surely could take some time. More so for some Cachers than others. This challenge is designed to foster an atmosphere of cooperation and friendship between participants in the "Game of Geocaching". The rules have been condensed to this SHORT VERSION: Anytime you Cache with another different Cacher -- you can count them as a "New caching Friend" EXCEPT at an EVENT. You can meet them at an Event but you must engage in some 'Caching Activity' away from the Event, OK? It is not only about WHAT you know or WHERE you have been, but WHO you met/meet and what you have SHARED along that journey. This Challenge is all about the friendships generated through hunting for a Cache with someone else. You can locate the cache at anytime however you may only post a Note until you have met 25 cooperating Cachers. Then you may Claim it as a 'Find' and enjoy your SMILEY!!
