Stick Around Traditional Cache
-Tiki-: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. This cache is located in a great local park, and is right by a little playground for younger kids. This is a wonderful spot for walking, running, rollerblading, biking, dogwalking, or strollering - just a really nice park. There are several other playgrounds here, too, that may appeal more to bigger kids.
This cache container is not itself really micro-sized, but the log within is tiny, nano-sized really. It is just a tiny little scroll logbook, so you will need to bring something with which to write, and also something (like tweezers) to help you remove the log scroll. Please make sure that the scroll is rolled up REALLY tightly with the edges even before you close it back up in the cache - thanks! There are mosquitoes here, and there is a slight possibility that there is poison ivy, although we did not see any. The hours in this park are from 5:30 AM - 1 hour after sunset, so this is not a night cache. This is a really easy walk, not far at all from parking, so it is an easy 1 for terrain. However, due not only to the popularity of this park (be very wary of prying muggle eyes!) but also to the cache container itself, we thought that it warranted a higher difficulty rating. If you are new to caching, this one might stump you; if you are more experienced, you may be able to stick it out. Thanks to my son, daughter, and niece for thinking this one up - they may have you barking up the wrong tree!
