Geocache Description:

This is a series of 16 caches describing the virtues of Geocaching.  Contained within these caches will be the coordinates to the 17th and final cache of the series.  While hunting this series, please reflect on the name of the cache and the meaning of each.  The series is designed to educate the new, and re-affirm the seasoned geocacher. Enjoy!

The series is best enjoyed if hunted with a few additional cachers to share a day of fun and chat away while strolling between caches.  You are going to put on a few miles along this journey.

You are seeking a series of mid-sized to large containers of various shape and sizes.  The containers will all have some sort of camouflage and contain a simple log sheet and a few trinkets.  There just might be a bit of swag and a TB or a Geocoin to be found as well.

Each cache is a stand alone find.  Each of the 'Geocaching Virtues' caches has been named with both the series name as well as the name relating to the particular virtue of geocaching or an element of good geocaching etiquette or habit.  Each listing contains a brief dialog on the virtue presented in each cache.

Have fun. Hunt the series.  Learn a bit along the way.  You will emerge at the end a tired, satisfied and virtuous cacher with 17 smileys' to show for your efforts.

**Special thanks to Doug and Linda Carnine for granting the use of this private Wildlife Preserve to all the Geocachers that hunt this series.  The land offers some spectacular views and challenging hiking terrain for those who enjoy and appreciate the outdoors.

Geocaching Virtues: #1 - Log your flight plan
- If you are to geocache alone, it is always a good idea to leave a note at the car or let a family member or friend know where you are going and when you will likely be back.  You could be missing a long time before anyone knows you are missing.  You could get lost or injured in an area where no one knows to look for your decomposing carcass.
