Geocache Description:

This cache is NOT accessible to the Hwy 30. No on/off ramps here. The easiest approach is to take Exit 91 or Exit 97 depending on which way you're traveling, use Hwy 84 which runs parallel to the west side of 30 for this stretch of road. Or if you're coming from Malvern take County Rd 30/West Sullenburger Ave.

OTBP Series (Off The Beaten Path)

This series is dedicated to 2 groups of cachers:

1: Cachers traveling though Central AR who need a break from the highway. As people's lives speed up, parts of our landscape get lost in time. A highway gets built & an old road gets cut off. An overpass gets built, but no one ever uses it. Most people speed past at 70mph, never aware these roads are here. I'm not promising scenic views or unique experiences with this cache series. Just a chance to take the road less traveled & slow down a bit. It may take you a few extra minutes in your travels, but that's part of the fun!

2: And, the local AR cachers who have never been this way before. People are creatures of habit, even if you try not to be. When you've lived somewhere for a long time, you take the same predetemined path to the local market, to & from work, back & forth to Grandma's house. Sure it may vary on occasion, but not by much. Here's a chance for Central AR cachers to take road they would have otherwise passed by, if not for a Geocache.

There is method to the caches. They are all close to the Hwy 30, so as to show up on routes/pockey queries of traveling cachers. But, none of them have easy on/easy off access to GZ. Don't expect to see the cache .5 miles up the road & think the exit is coming up. You've either already driven past it, or you'll have to back track a bit to come back to it. Forecasting your travels to these caches is key!

Before I decided to make this a series, I already had 2 caches placed that fit this description, "Grigsby Ford Overpass" &
"Don't Hit Your Head on the Interstate" near Malvern AR. Look for more to pop up nearby. Enjoy the hunt & happy caching!
