La célèbre grotte aux chats est le fantasme préférée de tous les Loclois. Fruit de nombreuses légendes et coin idéal pour les jeux d'enfance de toutes sortes. Aujourd'hui site de varrape, plusieurs histoires existent concernant ce sublime endroit.
Un vieillard du Locle m'a raconté une fois qu'un boucher dont la chatte avait eu une portée de passé 12 chattons avait reçu l'ordre par sa femme de les noyer dans un sac dans les eaux du Doubs. Ne pouvant s'y résigner, il les emmena dans la grotte et les-y cacha. Il revint plusieurs fois pour les nourir et les chat se multiplièrent. Depuis ce jour, l'on entend les chat miauler dans la grotte.

Il existe bien entendu plusieurs versions et histoires concernant cet endroit. Aussi, si vous en avez une autre version, n'hésitez pas à la partager avec nous!

The famous cave of the cats is the fantasy favorite of all Le Locle. The culmination of many legends and ideal place for childhood games of all kinds. Today varrape site, many stories exist about this sublime place.

An old man told me of Le Locle once a butcher whose cat had a litter of kittens had spent 12 ordered by his wife to drown them in a bag in the waters of the Doubs. Being unable to resign himself, he took them into the cave and buried them there. He returned several times to nourish and chat multiplied. Since that day, we hear the cat meowing in the cave.

There are of course many versions and stories about this place. Also, if you have another version, please share it with us!
