Valley for the
Mid Island
Geo-Poker Run
This event
was held last year with great success. We had a huge group of
cachers from the Victoria area and are expecting to see them all
again!!! This event is open to ALL!!!
Registration
will be at 10:30 AM...
We will start
the Geo Poker run
at 11:00 AM
SHARP !!!
Best Hand
will win the Grand Prize. ( I beleive Sole Seeker won last year
with a Full House with 10's over 6's) Draws will be made for door
prizes
Use your GPS or
just come to Fallen Alder Hall (Royston Rd)
We will not
have a registration fee, but ask that you bring a geo prize(per
person) (around $10 value) and a pot luck item for lunch. Meet and
greet to follow!!!
In addition to
the Geo-Poker run, we will have a couple other “Mini”
events. So, what to bring? Yourself, a potluck dish, GPSr, TBs,
coins, (If you log a TB into the event, please make sure it does
not get stuck there)signature items, geo-prize, pop, juice or
water, name tag (if you have one) We will have sticker name tags
available for those without.…and anything else you might
like to share with a bunch of crazy geocachers. Landsharkz will be
in attendance to have geocaching goods and wares available as well
as wise words of wisdom for all cachers, young and old, new and
experienced.
