Geocache Description:

This cache has been hidden with the permission of Bristol City Council (Ashton Court Estate Team).

Ashton Court Estate is beautiful parkland in Bristol. Most people walk in the bottom end of the park, but this cache will give you a chance to explore the top side, which is mostly used by locals walking their dogs, horse-riders and mountain bikers.

Enter the park through the 'Clifton/Leigh Woods' gate and park in the golf course carpark. Take the grass path (mostly used by dog walkers) for the most scenic and direct route.

Once you have found the cache there are plenty of walking options - either down through the woods or down the gravel path. Two more caches are close by to make a good loop walk.

There is a new wooden bench positioned in a great place to view the cache and to keep watch out for muggles before making your final move.

The cache is an oval ice-cream container, with a log book, pencil and sharpener.
