Cache hidden near Doll Massacre and Windigo Spirit Resting Tree
locations on the Bisson Trail "B" loop near the very western tip of
Tunnel Island.
A friend of ours (non caching) told us that during the fur trade
era, First Nations peoples would set up a large base camp on the
western tip of Tunnel Island when trading took place with the HBC
at Rat Portage Post. This location, near the Mysterious Doll
Massacre Site, looks like an ideal spot for a large camp site.
However, we were able, through normal channels (google) to discover
little to nothing about the existence of these campsites. We would
appreciate, as a requisite for logging this cache, any information
or research pertaining to this location to be posted to the log.
