Dartmouth Regional Park & Trails is a
multi-faceted regional park for both active and passive recreation.
When visiting the site you'll find basketball, volleyball and
tennis courts, a large playground area with lots of equipment
(including baby / toddler swings), baseball and soccer fields, a
picnic grove with grills and tables, and an outdoor pavilion.
There's also lots of open space for flying kites, playing frisbee,
or any other multitude of sporting activities. Last, but not
least ... there's LOTS of small trails to explore and to
find geocaches (there's at least 10 in the park already). If
that's not enough to fill your day ~ there's even a series of
four letterboxes!!
The park is open year-round, but signs state that the gate
closes at 8 p.m. in the summer // 6 p.m. in the winter. A
sign notes that a parking pass is needed, but of all the times I've
been here, I've never seen anybody checking for parking
passes. I don't think a "parking pass" will be an
issue.
While searching for the cache, please don't move or
remove any stones from the wall. When returning the cache, be
sure it's tucked way back in its hidey-place so it won't be seen by
Muggles. THANKS!!
