Why have so few people been out to cache on this trail? I did four caches today that haven't been found since May 2010. People, these caches are not hard, and this trail is beautiful! I hid this "gas saver" cache today at the end of my first hike here, to encourage people to come out here and enjoy the woods!
Once you have found this cache, be sure to visit Williamsburg Woodland Trails (Big View).
If you are a premium member, there are three more caches for you to find on this trail.
Now, the details:
Stage 1: At the posted coordinates you will find an object with numbers on it. You will know this object because it bears a prominent number "16." That number is of no further import.
There are two other pairs of numbers, one over the other. Do yourself a favor and examine the numbers carefully. Some numbers look like other numbers but if you look and compare all numbers you see there, you will find the right numbers.
The top pair is "A," and is actually so marked.
The Bottom pair is "B"
Stage 2: The physical cache will be found at 42 22.(380-A), 72 44.(264+B)
You can check your calculation at Geochecker.org
The cache is a military matchstick container with a log only. No room for anything bigger than a dime. Bring your own pen!
Please be gentle in your search and be sure to rehide gently and carefully!
Good luck and have fun!
Congratulations to Northeast Bugeater on the FTF.
