Geocache Description:

.......................................................................................................................... Congratulations to..................HAPYHUNTER for "FTF". You ARE the man! .........................................................................................................................................

About the film:

THE KENTUCKY FRIED MOVIE, made in 1977, is a crazy, often vulgar collection of comedy skits based on ideas put together by a Madison, Wisconsin satirical group called The Kentucky Fried Theatre. The group’s key members were-Jim Abrahams, and David and Jerry Zucker who went on to write the comedy classic “Airplane!”. This film’s director, John Landis went on to direct such modern comedy classics like “Animal House”, “ The Blues Brothers” and “ An American Werewolf in London”. This movie has a lot of hit or miss moments including a rather long Kung-Fu movie parody called "A Fistful Of Yen". My favorite skit is a courtroom scene where you can see the same type of humor developed later for “Airplane!” The film also has a segment with George Lazenby, the actor had who once had a shot at playing James Bond in the movie “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service”. Poor guy. Plus, if you stick with it. you’ll see a scene with Donald Sutherland as a clumsy waiter!
