More a Waypoint for Cachers to locate the centre of Nantglyn. This
Magnetic Nano just outside the grounds of St James's Church (Sant
Iago) will be "attractive" to all cachers. In such a public open
space please be aware of muggles though. Take some time, sit on the
bench, take the air and check the MAP.
Take some time to stop and check out the cute bridge over the Afon
Lliwen.
This was once a major route for Drovers bringing cattle to market
from the Denbigh Moors and Mynydd Hiraethog area. The village once
featured 3 pubs as well as a blacksmith's and several shops. The
Old School can be seen at the top of the hill. The Church features
a unique stone Pulpit in the huge Yew tree, supposedly used when
the church roof burned down in the 17 th century. It can be found
through the metal gates, just to the left of gravel path. Please be
respectful of the grave stones and no Geo-hounds allowed in the
Church yard. The steps are built in the back of the tree. The Yew
Tree's age has been estimated at well over 1000 years. We hope you
enjoy the other caches in the area. Asalpaws and co.
Congratulations to lostandwet with the FTF!
