Geocache Description:

A tiny cache hidden at the High School Plaza Park in Archbald, PA.

This cache was placed in the newly opened High School Plaza Park on Church Street in Archbald, PA.

The park, which was dedicated in September 2009, pays tribute to the many individuals who made Archbald what it is today, from veterans to miners to public safety and even to the many families who call Archbald home. The park is on the land where Archbald High School once stood. There is a veterans memorial in the northeast corner and a really nice 'Foundations of our Community' monument in the southwest corner. When visiting this cache you should definitely check them out.

As always, stealth is encouraged. This park is handicapped accessible, wheelchair friendly and the cache is kid friendly.
