This is a great little park on the site of a former High School. The building burned down in 1994. The Friends of High School Park have done a great job of making this a nice spot to view native flora. This cache is on the lower area where the nature trails are carefully tended. You can get to this one without hurting the flora.
There is a farmer's market on the upper lawn each Sunday in warm months. The Arts in the Park event in the spring is also a great event, with artwork and crafts for sale, food, and local musicians entertaining the crowd.
Parking for the park is on High School Road near the path to the nature trails. There is also metered parking on Montgomery near the upper park section.
The revised cache now contains a log, some small toys, and a geocoin.
