Geocache Description:

A nice walk beside the marsh.


Someday this will be a freeway connecting I-5 to South Puyallup through Spanaway. The old abandoned Wasmund Road is a great place to walk your dog or take a little nature walk. Come see the frogs and birds and other critters that call this marsh home. Be aware that the marsh area South of this roadway is under Joint Base Lewis McChord control. Following their rules for recreational access is reccomended if you wish to explore the trails South into the marsh.
