THINGS YOU WILL NEED FOR THIS CACHE HUNT!

1> Pen and Paper to take notes.

2> Riding a bike will allow you to complete this cache a lot faster.

3> Driving your car from stage to stage is not advised. You will see why should you attempt to do so.

4> Hunting this cache at night is also not advised unless you have a really good and powerful flashlight.

5> The container at the posted coordinates contains instructions on how to claim your smiley. DO NOT keep or write on the instruction sheet inside the container. You may take one of them with you on your hunt. But YOU MUST return it back to the container the SAME DAY you took it out of the cache so that future hunters the same day can use it also.

6> YOU MUST SIGN THE LOG BOOK INSIDE THE CACHE TO GET CREDIT FOR YOUR SMILEY! SIGNING A PIECE OF PAPER AND DROPPING INTO THE CONTAINER IS NOT ACCEPTABLE AND WILL RESULT IN HAVING YOUR LOG DELETED! If for some reason, you do not have a pen with you, or the pen inside the cache is not working or is missing, you may take a photo of the logbook and/or the inside of the unlocked cache box and send it to me.

THE STORY BEHIND THIS CACHE
==========================
Every morning, you can find many people working out and exercising in this park. You can find them walking, running, and even cycling on the road and walkways around the base of the mountain. 3 of the 5 miles of road around the mountain have been converted to one way automobile traffic back in the early 1990's. One of the main reasons this was done was because the park had a serious problem of local teens cruising in their cars around the mountain in both directions. This caused severe traffic jams in the park on weekends. Some of you may remember those days.

Since the Olympics were coming to Atlanta in 1996, the SMMA(Stone Mountain Memorial Association) decided to make the approximate 3 miles of road on the South side of the mountain one way traffic from the parking lot of the walk up trail area, all the way around to the Grist Mill area. The plan worked and teenage cruising around the mountain pretty much ceased within 2 months. Over the years, to this date, more and more people were taking advantage of the safe walking and biking lanes inside the park.

So bring your bike or your walking/running shoes and give the Weight Loss Program a try. Also don't forget to bring some water to keep your body hydrated.

To get started, here is what you do.
Just park at
N 33° 48.565 W 084° 08.419.
Then take the short hike over to posted coordinates. Some bush whacking may be required. Open the container, and find out how this miracle Weight Loss Program works.
