Geocache Description:

A quick cache 'n' dash in leafy Chiswick by the Thames. Not part of other church series as it won't be so permanent. Bring a pen to sign or the wrath of us all will fall upon you.

St Paul’s had been here for 132 years.
The Church was built though the generosity of the 7th Duke of Devonshire in 1872, in many ways a typical Victorian church. It was designed by Henry Curry and has an unusual fleche and mock belfry.
The church hall was destroyed during WWII and the church suffered damage to the east end, to all the windows and to the south transept. This was later converted from a Lady Chapel into a Community Room.
