This Cache has a great view of some of So. Cal's finest Earthmovers. While you are at the hide location don't forget to thank those great yellow dinosaures for all of the roads and house pads that they have helped to create.
Just a few facts to share with you. The long scrapers weigh 140,000 lbs. And can haul as much as 35 cubic yards of dirt that is about 105,000 lbs. of dirt.
The 6 wheeled machines (giant dump trucks) weigh 65,000 lbs. and can hold as much as 24 cubic yards of dirt, rock, mud ETC... About 70,000 lbs.
