Geocache Description:

This is our first cache. It is an ammo can placed on our land.

There is no gate to go through. There are two lanes very close together on the south side of the highway. One lane has a gate and the other one doesn't. Go through the lane without the gate and then park by the pond.

This cache is very close to the first road through Arkansas. It starts at Arkansas Post and goes all the way to Springfield, MO. This old road went right through the middle of Booger Holler Branch. It was very narrow, if you met another wagon someone had to backup. The tree limbs blocked out the sun, making it a very dark and great place to ambush travelers.

During the war for states' rights, Yankee troops were escorting a wagon train of Union sympathizers, from Ozark and Dardanelle, to a refugee camp in Springfield, MO. They were attacked in Booger Holler by Confederate troops.

In the ammo can, there will be a 58 caliber 3 ring bullet from this skirmish that I found on private land. Also an Indian arrowhead, some mercury dimes, a log book, a wooden nickel from the old Ritz Theater That was in Russellville Arkansas, a Buffalo nickel, and other things to start with.

Please help me with any advice, coordinates, or other things that I may need to know about this cache. Thanks and have fun!
