Easy parking for a single vehicle but please keep clear of the entrance gates to the fields. After parking, walk a short distance to the start of the public footpath. Footpath takes you in the direction of a disused quarry. The ground can be very muddy after periods of bad weather. Once in the quarry its important to keep to the right, theres a pond to the left & you'll want to stay away from it. Approach the 'obvious', but searching the 'obvious' will result in failure.
This is the "Third Generation" Quarry Micro cache. The first was prone to damp, the second went missing...so the third cache is now in place. In the first instance it really was a micro, but now its quite spacious, big enough in fact to take several large Travel Bugs plus 'other stuff'...
There is a certain amount of risk involved in finding this cache, so remember no-one is making you look for it - but in my opinion this is real geo-caching. In accepting the challenge of searching, you accept the risks involved. Please note - approaching the cache from the top of the quarry would be a very bad idea.
