DIRECTIONS
Turn off of Veterans Drive onto Miller Rapids Road. See the rapids to your right as you approach the cache site. Drive to the end of the road heading south. Ignore the old no trespassing sign on the gates that have clearly been left open for at least a decade.(The area has some piping from the old mill which has been demolished). Park at the public boat launch at the end of the road.
THE CACHES
Bring a pen and pad; you’ll need it for coord-recording.
This multi can be done at night, as all the caches can be a little susceptible to flashlights..
Find the first cache listed in the posted coordinates. The little black bullet nano hangs in the obvious tree. Access it from the waters edge for easier reach. It is just above head height. Don’t remove the ring from the tree, just twist the cap off if you can. Find inside TWO coordinate listings. YES TWO. You have to find TWO more nanos to get the final! What a nightmare!
Both of these new nanos hang about ~elbow height in two types of soft-needled trees. Don’t remove the ring from the tree, just twist he cap off if you can. Each of the two nanos contains coordinates; one has the north, one has the west. Get both, and you have the final location! Phew!
At the final location you will find a black plastic container secured to the roots, beneath some out of place rocks, with tradeables and LOG inside.< PLEASE rear cured nicely as this area floods in the spring. Thank you./font>
