LA FARE LES OLIVIERS.LA CHAPELLE SAINTE ROSALIE.
La cache proposée aujourd’hui est située à proximité de la Chapelle sainte Rosalie de La fare les oliviers. LE but de cette cache est d’amener le geocacheur a visiter ce site pour.
Voir la chapelle,son oratoire, ses départs de sentiers de promenade( notamment son cheminqui se dirige vers le château du castellas ( en ruine) mais a voir ne serait ce que pour la ballade (facile) , sa vue sur l’étangde berre, son aire de pique nique.
La Chapelle :
L'édifice fut construit en 1856 et dédié à Notre Dame de la Salette.
La proximité de l'oratoire de Sainte Rosalie, bergère qui sauva le village de la peste en 1720, fit que les farencs baptisèrent cette chapelle : Chapelle de Sainte Rosalie.
Sans doute l'isolement du village avant la construction du Pont de l'Arc, ainsi que son site collinaire proche des Bastides, permirent-ils de se prémunir contre ce fléau( cf infomairie)
A noter qu’a droite de la cache ; il y a une sorte de grosse plateforme rocheuse en pente.
Les enfants du village pendant des années, équipés de morceaux de carton, glissaient sur ce rocher pentu en guise d’amusement.
Rien ne vous empêche d’essayer avec toujours les précautions et la sécurité d’usage.

The hiding place proposed today is situated near the holy Chapel fare Rosalie de La olive trees. THE purpose of this hiding place is to bring the geocacheur has to visit this site for.

The Chapel:
