The cache is hidden approx 1 mile from the village of Welton along Welton Dale.
Park in the attractive village of Welton which has all the attributes of a Yorkshire village, good pub, pretty church and a popular duck pond. It also has the claim to fame that Dick Turpin once drank there and then was arrested in nearby Brough having shot dead a chicken after an argument !
If you wish to park as close to cache location, park along Dale road
( 53'44.1575 N 000'32.7380 W ). At the end of Dale road continue along the track past the impressive large duck pond and through the kissing gate at the end. The track gently inclines flanked on the left by thickly planted coniferous trees. The cache lies along this track if the sheep havent got there first ...
