Geocache Description:

This cache is for BTTCAR1, and should not be sought till 6:00 p.m. on September 24th.
Caches will be released to the public on September 23, but should not be located prior to 6 p.m. on September 24th.
Caches are published the evening before to give everyone a chance to look at the cache listings, solve any puzzles, and tactically plan the course of their hunt.

The spillway is at least the third on the creek. The original was to the northwest and is now a foot part/bridge. It was built to dam the creek and supply water to steam engines.
Water from Mirror Lake and coal from the coal mine near the ski jump were used in the local power plant to generate electricity for Camrose.
This is a regular cache. The conatiner is cameod with a pencil, pad and trinkets.
