Geocache Description:

A small cache located in Wallula Gap.

A while back, while driving through Wallula Gap on a cold and rainy night, we noticed an A-Team of Mountain Cows perched up on top of some precarious high ledges looking as though they could slip and fall on top of the passing cars below. We couldn't help but wonder if there had ever been any unfortunate accidents - one slip of the hoof sending some poor bumbling bovine plummeting onto the roof of the cars below. So, as you drive through Wallula Gap, perhaps it would be wise to watch carefully at the Mountain Moos above and hope they don’t slip as you make the drive along the winding road...

The cache is a camoed 6” X 8” X 2” lock-and-lock. The first to find prize is an unactivated Geocoin (Cow Tipping for Caches coin). There is a good highway pulloff nearby but children and dogs should be carefully watched because of the busy road. The difficulty is rated 2.5 for a short uphill hike. There may be fishermen coming and going to the river from this pullout, so use a little stealth if necessary. As always in rural areas, watch for snakes. Please rehide the cache as good or better than you found it.
