Located near the North Ghost Group Camp.
This cache was hidden by the CIC students of Land Environmental
Training Course Serial 0005. This is in commemoration of the first
LETC to take place at Rocky Mountain National Army Cadet Summer
Training Center, as well as the first non-trial run of the course.
LETC is a course specific to the Land element of the Cadet
Instructors' Cadre, during which we practice skills such as map and
compass, building improvised shelters, lighting fires without
matches, and of course, GPS. We spent four days of the course on
this site.
The cache is an ammo can with an official geocaching sticker that
should be fairly easy to find. Original contents contained several
cadet items such as lanyards, carabiners, pens, etc. To get to this
cache, park and the gate and walk through the group camp, and take
the trail near the north restroom. Please stay on the trail as much
as possible.
