Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden in little green oasis in the heart of downtown Cookeville. This cache has been placed with permission from the Director of Leisure Services.

This cache is hidden in Dogwood Park managed by the City of Cookeville's Leisure Services Department. It is little green oasis in the heart of downtown Cookeville. From the rose garden to the memorial plaques it is obvious that a lot of love goes into maintaining this peaceful place . Bring a lunch and enjoy at the picnic tables or on the grass.

Some days this place can be crowded as the
Dogwood Performance Pavilion is located in beautiful and shady Dogwood Park. There are many events held here including Shakespeare in the Park, Dogwood Fridays, Sundays in the Park Cookeville Community Concert Band concerts, Jazz in Cookeville, Bryan Symphony Orchestra concerts. On performance days a bit more stealth may be involved.
