Beware! Summer is a terrible time to access this cache. The field gets very overgrown and full of poison ivy. I highly recommend finding this cache in any of the other 3 seasons.
Cache is a large tin container filled with some great swag for the Munchkins to trade with; though you’ll have to do a little bushwhacking, and play a bit on Mother Nature’s obstacle course to find it.
This is an overdue tribute to our Bruschi aka Geomutt, who we lost suddenly to cancer in April 2010. He was only 5 years old. Anyway , Bruschi was our best friend, our best caching buddy. He especially loves a good Jamis multi! He would run for hours, tracking all sorts of smells, and always coming back to make sure we were still coming before taking off ahead again. I’ve hidden this cache in our favorite hiking spot. The field that this cache is near is one we would pass through each time we came here. We would always stop here a bit because there was so much to smell and listen for below the surface. Bruschi never got tired of it.
I’ve included a small photo album with some pics of Geomutt. I am also starting his cache with a travel bug dedicated to keep him caching.
Thanks for hunting my cache! Have Fun,
Naturemama
