Geocache Description:

Can you find the Forgotten Path? This cache can be approached in a number of ways. In summer and fall, a kayak across the pond might be the easiest. In the winter, one might be able to walk across the ice. But for most of the year, you can follow a mostly overgrown path through the thick forest, bushwack a little, and find the cache in a picturesque spot next to this pond.

The simplest access point is from the end of Keats Drive, marked as a parking waypoint. Don't park on Springbank Drive; you'll get a parking ticket for sure. A short walk down the wide path past the gate gets you to a wooded area where the Forgotten Path starts. The trailhead is quite overgrown, and so a waypoint is given for the beginning of the trail where its path can be seen more clearly.

The cache is a camouflaged small lock&lock box, containing a log and a geocoin. Winter-friendly, and available 24/7, but not recommended to find at night due to the thick brush. Eye protection a good idea, and mosquito repellent in the warm months. In wet weather, boots would also be wise.

Congratulations to Jttuck for an intrepid adventure in the dark to secure the coveted FTF!
