lamoracke: I expect to be back here soon, its a nice park, but could never find a spot for a good sized cache and even this hide had issues. Lets see what someone can think up.

Geocache Description:

This cache is dedicated to the 2010 Seattle Storm hopeful championship run. The Finals starts on Sunday September 12th against the Atlanta Dream at Key Arena. You really should try to go. Its a fun place to take kids, the crowd really gets into it. If you do go, you can't sit down once each half starts until the Storm scores at least one point. The Seattle Storm have arguably the best player in Woman's Basketball, Lauren Jackson #15. She has been with us 10 years. Sue Bird is one of the best too, she has been with us 9 years.

This cache is hidden in Chase Lake. The original container which I recovered lasted about 10 months and I have now changed it to a micro. I like Chase Lake, its a nice friendly small park, with lots of waterfowl, though the viewing platforms are certainly in need of repair but no park departments have the money for that at present. Its now a piece of grass just to the left of a fence post. Use your eyes, not your hands to see it.

Have fun! Please obey City of Edmonds park hours.

9/12/2010 Seattle Storm win an ugly game 79 to 77 to take game 1 of the 5 game series.

9/14/2010 Storm win another tight game, game 2 at home, 87 to 84. Are now undefeated at home in the regular season AND the postseason.

9/17/2010 Fitting that this series was won by yet another tight game. Was Atlanta that good or we just that sloppy? Who cares, we won! Certainly helps to have a healthier Lauren Jackson in the Playoffs, unlike the last 2 seasons. TItle #2.
