Geocache Description:

Lemon Bay Park
570 Bay Park Blvd
Englewood, FL 34223

The park consists of over 200 acres of pine trees and native Florida scrub and is the home of American bald eagles and a variety of local birds. This is a wonderful way to take time out from a busy schedule and walk the 2 mile trail and rest, if necessary, at one of the many benches along the path. Bobcat Trail leads down to the waters edge of Lemon Bay and gopher tortoises are a common sight along Gopher Trail.

Picnic areas and a kayak launching ramp are also located in Lemon Bay Park. Access to the park can be accomplished by way of Stewart Street. Just follow the signs.

Please re-hide out of sight but keep this hide a 1.5. The prize is in the journey!

The placement of this cache has been approved by Sarasota County Parks with permit.

**Congratulations to Bob and Kath for FTF!**
