Independence has some beautiful parks, most with concrete walking paths, that make for great family outings. This is the 5th of 6 caches we have placed in parks within the City of Independence. Thanks to the Independence Parks and Recs for allowing us to place these caches. Cache is easy enough to be a park and grab, just a few yds from path, but probably not handicapped accessable due to slightly uneven ground to gz. Cache is placed in Fairmount Park.
Container is a small camo'ed plastic bottle. Prize for FTF. Contains log book, but no writing instrument, so bring your own. Room for small swag items. Please, if you take something leave something and please replace as you found it. Happy Hunting! THIS CACHE HAS BEEN REPLACED ON 2/20/11 AFTER I CONFIRMED IT TO BE MISSING IN ACTION.
