Sheridan Park Multi-Cache
-allenite-: As there's been no response from the cache owner to my previous note, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.
Please note that geocaches archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance are not eligible for unarchival.

The late Dr. Harold (Red) Sheridan, long time local veterinarian and former Polkton Charter Township Board Trustee, donated this unique fifty seven acre parcel of land to the Township in 2003, with the understanding that the parcel would be used to establish Sheridan Park. Dr. Sheridan desired to provide a place where the community could participate in physical activity while enjoying the natural beauty of the area. In 2008 a Sheridan Park Committee was established, made up of volunteers from the township, to plan and develop the park. The committee has focused on fulfilling Dr. Sheridan’s wishes by coordinating the construction of boardwalks and bridges which permits access to the entire park, developing pedestrian trails for exercise, establishing picnic areas, and installing benches along the paths. The park holds many scenic features such as Deer Creek, Beaver Creek, abundant wildlife, unique plants and wild flowers, wooded areas and grassy highlands. A fifty-foot suspension bridge that I will dub the “Mini Mac” spans Deer Creek and connects the lower portion of the park with the highlands. The first set of coordinates takes you to a parking lot where you must locate the coordinates to the final cache. Please beware, this is a public park and Mugglers are everywhere… enjoy your visit…
