A "Get Into the Game" geocaching event celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America.
This event will be held at the Alamo Area Council's Scout Office located at NW Military Highway and Lockhill Selma Roads.
Be sure to sign the special guest book celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Scouting in America, which will double as our event cache logbook. When the event is over, the guest book will go on display in the musuem. The event will take place from 9am to 2pm.
While this event is going on, you may see Boy Scouts walking around with GPS devices; they are working on earning the Geocaching Merit Badge. There will also be Cub Scouts learning about geocaching and participating in some geocaching games. Consider them future geocachers in training.
Everyone is invited to attend, so please come and help the Boy Scouts celebrate this historic event.
