Geocache Description:

I was driving around doing a bit of urban caching when I passed an access into a canyon. I love canyons, especially ones that are tucked away! Trail is actually 1.5-star terrain for most of the way to cache & becomes a 2 when it's time to retrieve. Length of time in 2-star terrain depends on your approach.

I really don't recommend you stopping on northbound Fairmont to access this cache. I came in through a canyon access point found in the vicinity of Van Dyke & Madison. Please be mindful of the (legal) residents in the area. I didn't see any evidence of the non-legal types, but they're all over the place, so stay aware.

There is a distinct elevation change when you approach the cache. I recommend staying on the trail past the cache until you find an easier place to get to cache level. Safety first!

Cache container is a camo-colored pill bottle with the side-squeeze access. (Instructions on top if you need it.) It's in no danger of floating away. Please make sure to replace better than you found it.
