Also known as the Warder's Tower and Knypersley Tower this is a gamekeeper’s cottage in the form of a miniature castle of red sandstone built in 1828/9.
The Harrison family lived in the Lodge in the 1830s and it was still occupied into the 20th century. There is also a memorial bench close by to Ada Wood who was born there in? (Refer to Serpently... GCNQ6K)
This is a Grade II listed building which is on English Heritage's Buildings at Risk Register.
