Sit and
Remember
This Cache is a Disabled
friendly Cache
Suitable for folk who use a wheelchair, Mobility Scooter and /or
Walking Sticks.
I suggest one should always have an able bodied person in tow just
to help retrieve
the cache if nessesary..
Out in the Hills of West
yorkshire There seems
to be many Benches dedicated to people from the past. Perfect
places to sit
and rest up and think of those who have travelled by this beautiful
spot in the past.
"Sit and Remember" has a most amazing view,
especially
on a sunny day, probably stretching as far as Kingston upon Hull.
That will
have to be confirmed, weather permitting.
Here you will find a bench dedicated to a
cyclist who obviously
loved this place. You won't find the cache here at the bench, but
it's a good
place to sit and fill in the logbook. At the same time admiring
this wonderful
view.
The Cache is a "Small Cammo Clipbox" hidden
just
50 mts up the road, just follow your GPS Coords. The Road is very
quiet and
it is possible to pull up on the grass verge if you choose to use
your car,
however beware of the odd "Boulder" and the drainage ditches.
The
cache is less than a meter from the roadside
Do take care on these roads as they are
only single
track roads with passing places
Please replace
exactly where
you found it :-)
This is a
Disabled Friendly Cache, However it is recommended to bring along
an able-bodied companion.

As with all of my caches "Sit and Remember" is
a
Cache
in Trash Out (CITO)
location
Cache In Trash Out doesn't just happen once a
year. It can
easily happen on every geocache adventure.
Bring a trash bag along with you and pick up the
occasional
piece of trash you see on the trail.
Even this small act can make a huge
difference.
